What does it comprise?

Mind Matters have the ability to structure the interventions and courses to suit specific requirements and business constraints. As an indication, a public course of this nature would take place over eight two-hour sessions and comprise tutor input and Mindfulness Practice. There would be input on the different ways to practice mindfulness skills and techniques, including:

  • Increasing creativity and flexibility
  • Enhancing attention and concentration

  • Refining the decision making process
  • Responding effectively to uncertainty and conflict

This course can be delivered as a standalone activity for groups of staff or through an Occupational Health Service for a collection of individuals.

What does the course comprise?

Within teams we are often expected to multi-task, communicate and interact effectively, deliver results in stressful circumstances and cope with changing requirements and environments. Our Mindfulness based programme enables individuals and consequently teams develop skills and techniques to be effective in all these areas.

How is it delivered?

MIND, BODY, NUTRITION & EATING PSYCHOLOGY


Overview:

This programme is for individuals who are seeking a sustainable solution which they can apply to their everyday issues with food, nutrition and overall health.

Rather than trot out the tired old messages, Mindfulness applied in this context engages people practically to change the relationship with food and nutrition and assists in breaking the harmful links and myths between body image, weight and well-being.

The course will consist of input by Clinical Psychologists, Mindfulness experts and Eating Coaches. 

The format, precise content and duration would be agreed. Input would be provided on the causes and triggers for eating issues, our relationship with food and struggles with body image and weight. 

Individuals will be helped to develop specific techniques to help create a sustainable relationship between body, mind and nutrition.
